16/7 – Morning friends! Man it feels good to be a part of the community of Bargara and surrounds. It truly is a special place with so many beautiful souls. It is a privilege to be involved at a grass roots level at the shop and beyond. This was once again highlighted on the weekend with another beach cleanup for Plastic Free July and Take Three for the Sea. If you don't know about these campaigns, google them and take a look!
Shanze was the driving force behind this venture and the date was set for Saturday the 14thof July. We met down at Neilsons Beach and had a good number of customers and kids to cover Neilsons, The Basin, Kellys and the turtle park beach together. We were able to collect a heap of rubbish, have a laugh and make our beaches just that little bit more beautiful once again. Thanks to everyone who turned up and we look forward to another one of these events soon!
It turned out to be a busy weekend as on Sunday afternoon after work, we also held our second coffee course. It was once again an afternoon of fun, learning about coffee from farm to shop and experimenting with preparing espresso and milk. Thanks to Dee, Anette and Ricki for coming and for Michael and Steve for cheering on in the bleachers! You’re all amazing! If you want to be a part of a course in the future, let me know through social media or by dropping into the shop. Good times!
Well friends, I hope this finds you all well, safe and loving life. We are so grateful for you all and can’t wait to see you in the shop again soon! Bless.
